As previously described within question two:
''... the 'social group' in which my magazine is intended to represent are the 'outcasts', the 'alternatives', the 'rejects' the teens who with only one look can tell you a thousand things; or as society likes to call them: The Scene kids, The Emo kids, The Goths and The Punks.''
My target audience for my media magazine would be those aged 20 or younger as 84.62% of people who answered my online survey responded with such an answer.

The Pretty Reckless - Heaven Knows
This is the latest music video released by The Pretty Reckless (my main inspiration for my cover photo) In this video you can see the representation of female rockers as wearing all black skimpy clothing, often heavily cladded in leather. This dark expression though the dark clothing often connotes the feeling of death or a 'darkness' within he personality of the person. It can also convey that the person is rather secretive and have a hidden qualities to them; which when in the music industry is a common element to band, as each has their own quality or iconic flare.
Through this interpretation of how the uni-core genre is represented it aids me to explain why I have chosen the colour scheme of my music magazine 'SCREAM' as black, white and red as it follows the codes and conventions of Uni-core genres and the bands and artists that fit within the genre.
The use black and white contrast with each other and act as a very 'eye-catching' mix, however with the addition of red onto each page with a splash of acid yellow it ties in the key red of the front cover models lipstick with an alternative/opposing colour (the acid yellow) creates a striking colour palette which in theory should entice customers to buy.

The Pretty Reckless
The Pretty Reckless are the biggest inspiration to the creation of my magazine and the main influence of my new genre - uni-core.
